Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your child’s education as well as get to know the staff and other parents and carers.
Research shows that children benefit when their parents or carers are actively involved in their education and school life.
You can help by:
- listening to children read in the classroom
- volunteering on sports days
- helping supervise excursions
- getting involved in fundraising activities
- joining school committees.
Parent helpers are a valuable resource at our school. Teachers appreciate your help in the classroom for class programs and for special support programs, such as the tutor program reading.
All parents visiting or assisting at the school in any way, must sign in and out at the front office and collect a visitors badge. This system ensures that all visitors are authorised, are easily identified by school personnel and students and ensure the safety of all.
Parents are requested not to enter classrooms during lesson time. All enquiries must go via the school office.
